Lorain County Bar Association

The Lorain County Bar Association (LCBA) is a nonprofit organization, operating as a center for legal professionalism in Lorain County and promoting the highest ethical and professionalism standards.  Its vision is to advance the Lorain County legal community as a center of professional excellence and model of community service.

The LCBA strives to be the leader in providing excellent, innovative and cost-effective services to its members and the general public in Lorain County. Through active involvement of a broad and diverse membership, we will focus our professionalism, education, advocacy and community service in order to advance the justice system for all.

The Lorain County Bar Association Foundation is the charitable arm and partner of the LCBA. It raises funds to support the important public outreach activities of the Association. These activities include scholarship programs for law-related education.

PURPOSE: To support the administration of the legal system, assure all citizens equal access to justice, foster high standards of ethical conduct for lawyers, enable its members to better serve their clients and the public, educate the public about the rule of law and promote diversity in the administration of justice and the practice of law.
